HEAR ONE BUILT FOR YOUR TRADE

Not one of these? These are only the trades with a page so far. Book a call and I’ll build one on yours.

01 · WHAT IT IS

A receptionistthat runs onsoftware.

It answers your phone in your company’s name. It knows what you do, who works there, and what to do with each call. You get a written summary before you’ve put your tools down.

It isn’t a voicemail, a press-one menu, or a call centre reading from a card. It’s one receptionist built for one business, which is why there’s no sign-up button here.

Built, not configured

I write it around your business: your services, your people, your rules. No template with your name dropped into it.

It answers as you

Your company's name, your way of doing things. Callers are told it's an AI the moment they ask.

Nothing rides on memory

Every call reaches you in writing, including the ones it couldn't help with.

WHAT IT DOES

It does whatyour receptionistdoes.

Not a menu, not a voicemail. It does the job a good receptionist would.

03 · IT ASKS, YOU DECIDE

You stay in charge.It remembers.

A caller asks about a ZIP code you don't cover, or a Sunday. It takes the details and texts you the question. Your reply becomes the rule. It won't guess on your behalf.

04 · WHY YOU’D WANT ONE

The phonedoesn’t waitfor you.

No statistics. Every figure in this market comes from someone selling something. Here are five things to check against your own week.

  • You can't do the work and answer the phone.

Whoever picks up is up a ladder, driving, or stood in front of a customer. One pair of hands, two jobs.

  • Out of hours is a promise most people don't keep.

“Call us any time” sits on a lot of websites. After six there's nobody behind it.

  • Voicemail asks the caller to do you a favour.

Most won't. The few who do leave a first name and half a number. By the time you ring back they've booked someone else.

    Voicemail · 6 seconds“It’s Dan, I was ringing about…”
  • The wrong call lands on the wrong desk.

A tenant's leak comes through to the sales desk. Somebody answers it, badly. Routing is the part nobody sets up.

    Tenant’s leak → sales desk

And some of it genuinely doesn't matter.

Somebody who chose you will ring back. If all your work comes by referral, this is worth less to you than to whoever reads it next. I'd rather say that now than in month two.

06 · BEFORE YOU ASK

Straightanswers.

Pick the one you were going to ask.

Go and hear one. The roofing page has a line you can ring from your browser right now. It's a receptionist built for a company that doesn't exist, and it's the same thing your callers would get. Judge it yourself.

Occasionally it will. When it isn't sure it doesn't guess. It takes the details and passes them to you. Every call arrives as a summary, including the ones that went badly, so nothing disappears quietly.

Three things, and I’d rather you heard them from me. It can’t write into a restaurant’s calendar — I haven’t built that integration, so it takes the booking and passes it to whoever holds the book. It can’t write into your CRM either, though that one is worth doing once you have the call volume to pay for the wiring; ask and I’ll tell you whether you’re there. And it will never ring people for you. That last one isn’t a to-do, it’s a no: an automated voice making outbound calls sits in a very different legal position from one answering your phone, and I’m not going near it until that is settled.

No. Your number stays as it is. Calls you don't answer within a few rings forward to Musanhi. Switching it on takes minutes. Switching it off is the same thing backwards. If you'd rather not point your main line at it on day one, run it on a second number for a few weeks and listen to what it does first.

$395 a month for 400 minutes, or $795 for 1,000 — about a fifth cheaper per minute on the bigger block. Your first 200 minutes are free, or thirty days, whichever runs out first. What it costs you before that is about forty minutes telling me how your business actually works.

It still works. Those are just the ones with a page written for them so far. The slow part is learning your business, and that's the same job whatever the business is.
