Who we are

Musanhi provides an AI receptionist that answers calls for local service businesses. This notice covers this website only. If you are already a customer, how we handle your callers' data is set out in your service agreement.

What this site collects

You can read every page of this site without giving us anything. Data only reaches us if you use the voice demo, book a call, or hand over your details at the end of the missed call audit. The advertising pixel below is the exception. It reports to Meta from the moment you arrive, and it reports what you tap in the audit as you go.

Cookies and similar technology

This site runs a Meta advertising pixel. It places a cookie in your browser and tells Meta which of our pages you looked at, and what you tap in the missed call audit, so we can see whether our advertising is working and show our ads to people like you. It loads as soon as you arrive and we do not currently ask you first. It is the only thing here that follows you between sites, and the site works perfectly well without it. If you would rather it did not run, see the paragraph under the table. Some of the same reporting is also sent to Meta directly from our server when you complete the missed call audit, which is described further down.

WhatWho sets itWhat it doesConsent
Advertising pixelMeta (Facebook)Reports to Meta which of our pages you visit, and what you tap in the missed call audit, including the figure it gives you. That lets us measure our ads and reach similar people. Sets a cookie called _fbp.Not needed for the site to work, and not asked for at present
Booking calendarCal.comRuns the booking calendar near the bottom of the page. Cal.com may set its own cookies inside that panel.Needed to offer the booking tool
Visitor analyticsVercelCounts page views and measures loading speed. Uses no cookies and does not identify you.No cookies, so none needed

The advertising pixel sets its cookie on arrival. The booking calendar can set its own, but only if you open it and book. Our visitor analytics uses no cookies at all and does not know who you are.

You can stop the pixel by blocking third-party scripts in your browser settings or with any ad blocker, and you can delete the cookie it sets along with the rest of your browsing data. Doing either has no effect on the site. You can also limit how Meta uses what it already holds from your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. If you would like us to delete data we hold about you, email us using the address at the bottom of this page.

The missed call audit

The audit asks four questions about your business, then asks for your name and email address, and your phone number if you want to give it. We keep your answers alongside your details so that what we quote back to you is what you actually saw. They are stored in our own database, copied into our customer records, and posted to a private staff channel so someone knows to get back to you. We store two more things with them: what your browser says about itself, and which advert or link brought you here. We use all of it to contact you about Musanhi and nothing else, and we do not sell it.

When you submit that form we also send your name, email address and phone number to Meta in hashed form, so Meta can tell us which advert led to your inquiry. Hashing is one way: the details are turned into an unreadable string before they leave our server, and the readable version is never sent. Meta can still compare that string against the same calculation run on its own records, so if you have a Facebook or Instagram account it may well work out that the inquiry was yours.

Five other things go to Meta in the same message, and those are not hashed:

  • your IP address, which gives a rough location
  • the description your browser sends about itself
  • the Meta cookie already sitting in your browser
  • the figure the audit gave you
  • your answer to the last question

All of this happens on our server, so blocking scripts in your browser does not prevent it. If you would rather we did not do it, email us at the address at the bottom of this page and we will stop.

The voice demo

If you press “Talk to it now”, your browser asks for permission to use your microphone and the call is handled by our voice provider, Retell AI, so the agent can hear and answer you. The call only happens if you start it, and it ends when you end it. Do not read out anything confidential: it is a demo line, not a private one.

Booking a call

The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com. When you book, the name, email address and any details you enter go to Cal.com and to us, so we can hold the meeting. We use them to contact you about Musanhi and nothing else.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
